Instructions for the proper disposal of used batteries
The following instructions are meant for all users of batteries and products with inbuilt batteries who are not reselling these products in the state they received it (end-user):

All batteries are marked with a symbol depicting a crossed dustbin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed via the general trash. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 mass percentage of mercury, more than 0.002 mass percentage of cadmium or more than 0.004 mass percentage of lead, the chemical symbol of the pollutant used is mentioned below the dustbin. In these cases "Cd" denotes cadmium, "Pb" lead and "Hg" mercury.
1. Return of used batteries free of charge
Batteries must not be disposed via the general trash. Users are legally obligated to return used batteries, to ensure the professional disposal. You can hand in used batteries at any municipal collection points or at local retail establishments. As a distributor of batteries we are also bound to accept used batteries. This is restricted to the same kind of used batteries as those present in our current or former assortment.
